We have missed you! We didn't see you at our Spring Sale nor our Summer Saler. So, after putting our heads together here at [Company], we concluded that the only possible reason for you having stayed away from our great deals is that you don't like crowds. Thus, we came up with the following solution:

A PRE-CHRISTMAS SALE OPEN ONLY TO PREFERRED CUSTOMERS NOVEMBER 30, 20XX.
5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.

If there is any other reason that has kept you away, please let us know by calling me personally at (555) 555-5555. Thank you.

Dear [Customer]:

The best time to take advantage of our low prices is now!

At the April 10th industry tradeshow in Chicago, three days from now, we believe that the overall theme will be higher prices, with the recent increases in energy and oil-based materials costs. With inflation also predicted to surpass 4.5% this quarter alone in our industry, we expect to see a resulting XX% increase in prices across the board this year, and most specifically in the northern states, where energy costs are higher. So why not beat the inflation and drop by soon. We are having a special Preferred Customer Sale from April 15th to May 21st after the tradeshow.

You will be pleased with our new product lines and amazed by some of our prices. In any event, drop by and visit our booth at the show. In any event, say "hello." We have free coffee and donuts and great conversation.
